Established in South Australia in 1984 under Community Living for the Disabled Incorporated, DLi began its journey by providing long-term accommodation and support for young adults who had reached a stage where their traditional housing options had narrowed. Since then, DLi has grown significantly to now employ over 240 support staff in multiple locations across metropolitan Adelaide.

AFDIF acknowledges the traditional Country of the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains and pays respect to elders past, present and emerging. We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land. We acknowledge that they are of continuing importance to the Kaurna people living today.
